Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum: the site works fully with only the first one below, and analytics cookies are set only if you agree.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
si_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics | 1 year | Necessary |
_ga | Google Analytics: tells visits from different browsers apart | 2 years | Analytics, only with consent |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics: keeps the state of your current visit | 2 years | Analytics, only with consent |
Our content delivery network, Cloudflare, can also set a short-lived security cookie
(__cf_bm, 30 minutes) to tell people from bots. It contains no information about you
beyond that check.
Other storage on your device
- Theme. If you switch between the dark and light theme, your choice is kept in your
browser's local storage under the key
theme. It never leaves your device.
Changing your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page to see the cookie banner again and accept or decline analytics. Declining removes Google Analytics from the site on your next page load. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings at any time.
